Nontoxic – Preview

This hereby signals the end of my no-previews-until-released mantra. Enjoy…

Truthfully, I just wanted to try out soundcloud. Looks interesting.

  • Love it. thanks for sharing!

  • Really like this shift in perspective and sound. It’s still Lunar, but this new chime-like sound is wonderful. I’m liking its beat.

Not as dark as Wall, but not as happy as Hybrid. Kinda mellow. Look forward to the rest. <3

  • This sounds great! I’m excited for the new album. Any idea when it’s going to be finished?

Loved Hybrid Awaken and Wall of Sound. It sounds like Nontoxic will be just as good if not better.

  • Looking forward to the new album!

  • This is bloody fantastic, listening to this the first time fires all the right neurons in my brain. Reminds me of the first time I listened to Floodlights!

  • Hey I just want to let you know that I really love your music, been listening to the first two albums on my ipod for the past couple years. You have some huge talent and I’m surprised you’re still releasing the tracks for free.

I hope you hit the big time soon. You sure have the ability to.

  • I have to say, if this is a preview what the style of your new album will be like…im liking it! it seems much more happier and less darker then wall.

    can’t wait!

  • Finally, uptempo beats, and happy! Haha. I am VERY anxious for the new album! Please email me when it’s ready! Try to make every track very uptempo, drum and bass type feel to it. This preview… I CAN’T stop listening to it!!!

  • I agree with Mizu, it has a different tone while still being familiar. Each lunar album so far has had a different mood, which keeps it fresh.

This is a super chilled track, I like the mix of xylophone in there(i think that’s what it is). Thanks for the preview and good luck on completing the album!

  • Awesome. You’re the kinda guy i wanna hang with on weekends. Do what you wanna do, man. Peace

  • Very nice and unique, as always, but not liking it as much as the old ones. This is more trance then it is instrumental/electronic… It seems you’ve been moving more towards trance since Wall of Sound. It was great, almost as good as Hybrid Awaken, but not as good because it was more repetitive.

I really like your music, and I’d hate to see you go off course from creating such amazing, unique, beautiful, powerful, creative and addictive music. So all I’m asking is for you to put a little more variety in the song(s), spice it up a bit. The repetitiveness in Wall of Sound was annoying, and here its just even more repetitive. Its dull. I like how it was going, but…. Make it more interesting, like you did with your first album.

I love your music, and you were actually my inspiration for creating my own music and for helping me through many things in my life. And I’d hate to see your new album destroy what you’ve created so far. I’m not saying its bad; it just needs a little more modification to spruce it up.

Can’t wait for the new album,
    Koolstr

  • This song is great, I cant wait to hear your new album!!

  • Your music is brilliant.

  • Haha, not the same “Kai” as the one above.

Dude your music is fantastic, I’m really looking forward to its release. I can even have the University Chronicle do a review on it too =)

  • First off, what program(s) do you use to make your music?
Second, I do agree a little with “Koolstr” the song is good, but I feel like something is lacking a little.
Third, I really can’t wait for the next album though, I probably listen to your other CD’s just about everyday, and that’s been going on for at least a year. This stuff never gets old.

I swear you are half genius.

Thank you so much for this music, you have no idea how much it is a part of my life. Anyone that doesn’t think it is amazing I think is a lunatic; your music is probably my favorite music of all time.

So again I thank you for your wonderful music making abilities.

  • I feel all the parts are pretty amazing in this song.

I saw in another thread that you were thinking of asking for suggestions. The only thing I could think of to change in this song is to add a short little transition between the smoother slower parts and the fast paced deep base parts. If you intended the quick transition then I understand and that’s good as well.

This is in no way putting the song down. I like it the way it is as well and consider your music to be some of the best and most original electronic music that I have ever heard.

    Keep up the amazing work.
